        Howdy all.  I know it has been six months since the site has been updated and I am still deployed. In fact this update is coming to you from Cape Town, South Africa. I can't update the site from aboard ship so it has to wait until I'm in a port. Chris is still keeping the school going, though it is more of a point for service members to get gear - he doesn't have a lot of time to teach, but guys are still getting out on the water. Chris is trying to find someone to carry on when he departs in a few weeks.  The concern is that with the hand over to the Iraqi Army that most of the base will be turned over to the Iraqis - which is good because it means our men and women can come home and there won't be a need for the school.  However, if there is a chance to keep it open and available for any that remain, Chris will do his best. 

        Don't forget to sign the guest book, if you have not. It is up and running and folks are starting to add their comments.
