The Wednesday group is continuing to press on. Still have a couple fishless guys, but they have not lost faith. This Wednesday found us with an east wind and a falling barometer. There were some carp cruising about, but nothing biting. The guys are pretty pleased with the polarized lenses and how it lets them see the fish.
I was going to try and start a new group today, but the weather turned for the worse and I did not want to try and introduce them to the sport in 20 mph winds, gusting to 30. We are going to see what Monday brings.
I also need to get going with the fly tying class. I've had yet another shift change, so once I get back into a rhythm, I will get that class on track.
SGT Q, still working for that first fish.
SGT D, showing how a south paw does it.
El Guapo, another lefty learning the lines.
